Dallas Cowboys sign tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford to three-year extension

The Dallas Cowboys reached an agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford on a three-year contract extension on Thursday. The deal is worth $18 million with $12.075 million guaranteed, keeping the player under contract through 2029. An undrafted free agent in 2024, Spann-Ford has played in 34 consecutive regular-season games over the last two seasons. He recorded his first five career starts in 2025 and scored his first career touchdown during a Week 12 win against the Philadelphia Eagles. The tight end has accumulated 18 receptions for 178 yards on 27 targets during his time with the team. Agent Mike McCartney confirmed the extension, which secures the 6-foot-7, 270-pound player's spot on the roster as he continues to develop his blocking and receiving skills.
