Dallas Stars, Jason Robertson set arbitration hearing date amid negotiations

Robertson is a restricted free agent and had filed for arbitration earlier this month, which removed his eligibility for offer sheets from other teams. The Stars reportedly offered him a contract around $12 million annually, but Robertson is seeking a higher figure. He declined a trade to the Seattle Kraken during the offseason that could have provided him with an eight-year contract worth $15 million annually. If the arbitration hearing occurs, both parties will not be able to pursue a multi-year extension until January 1, 2027.
