The Dallas Wings secured a 97-71 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. The win marks the fourth consecutive victory for Dallas, which holds a 24-16 record and has already clinched a postseason berth. Arike Ogunbowale led the team with 18 points, while Jessica Shepard contributed 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort. The Sun played without Brittney Griner and Olivia Nelson-Ododa. Dallas will now pause play for the FIBA Women’s World Cup, which runs from Aug. 31 through Sept. 16. The team is scheduled to return to the court on Sept. 17 to host the Los Angeles Sparks.
