Dalton Knecht faces uncertain future with Lakers as trade talks arise

Dalton Knecht's role with the Los Angeles Lakers appears in jeopardy as the team evaluates its roster following the preseason. Knecht, who was expected to be a key shooter, saw his minutes cut significantly last season and did not play until late in a recent loss to the Denver Nuggets. With the addition of several new wings, the Lakers reportedly have had trade discussions regarding Knecht with the Milwaukee Bucks, though there are doubts about reaching an agreement. This reassessment comes as the Lakers adjust to life after LeBron James' departure this summer.
