Dan Briand named head baseball coach at Northern Essex CC

Dan Briand has taken on the role of head baseball coach and assistant athletic director at Northern Essex Community College, effective August 10. This follows the closing of Anna Maria College, where Briand had a successful nine-year tenure, becoming the all-time leader in wins for the program. Under Briand, Anna Maria reached several conference championship appearances, including a record 25 wins in the last regular season. The coaching position at Northern Essex opened after former coach Jeffrey Mejia transitioned to Merrimack. Briand aims to uphold the program's tradition of success, targeting conference and national championships.
