Dan Campbell achieves 54th win to rise in Lions coaching ranks

Dan Campbell earned his 54th regular-season victory as head coach of the Detroit Lions, moving into second place on the franchise's all-time wins list. The milestone came following the team's recent victory over the Miami Dolphins. Campbell surpassed George Wilson and Potsy Clark, who each recorded 53 victories. Since taking over in 2021, Campbell has led the Lions through successive seasons of improvement, culminating in a franchise-record 15 wins in 2024. He now needs 12 more wins to tie Wayne Fontes for the top spot in Lions history. The recent success reflects a significant turnaround for the Lions under Campbell's leadership.
