Dan Campbell discusses Jahmyr Gibbs' apparent contract hold-in

Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs did not practice on July 29, as he stages an apparent hold-in while awaiting a new contract. Head coach Dan Campbell addressed the situation, stating both sides are working through the matter. The situation parallels that of Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, both of whom were selected in the first round of the 2023 draft. The timing of their respective contract resolutions may affect their earnings, with speculation that the first to sign will earn less.
