Dan Campbell provides updates on Lions' injured players ahead of cuts

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell addressed the status of injured players, including Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph, during a press conference on August 27. Both players are recovering from injuries but may not return for the start of the season. Campbell also mentioned Isiah Pacheco, who has a back injury complicating his recovery from an MCL injury, though he remains optimistic about Pacheco's availability for Week 1. Additionally, there are no updates regarding center Cade Mays' wrist injury, and rookie Derrick Moore will miss more practice time due to an unspecified injury.
