Dan Hurley expresses desire for UConn basketball at White House

UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley attended UFC 250 at the White House and suggested that the Huskies should play a game on the White House lawn. He reminisced about attending boxing events and expressed his enthusiasm for the atmosphere at the UFC fights. Hurley noted that playing at the White House would be comparable to the exciting settings of college basketball games held on military bases or other unique venues. Although there is no scheduled game for UConn against Duke at the White House, he hopes for a future opportunity to create a similar event.
