Dan Quinn may face pressure as Commanders consider McDermott

Summary

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn enters the 2026 season following a disappointing 2025 campaign, where the team went 5-12. After replacing both offensive and defensive coordinators, Quinn's job security has come into question. NFL insider Jason La Canfora reports former Bills head coach Sean McDermott may be considered a potential replacement if the team's performance does not improve early in the season. The Commanders recently completed minicamp with an optimistic outlook, particularly concerning quarterback Jayden Daniels and key offensive players.
