A long awaited fight between Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua may have finally been announced, the drama can’t seem to wind down over ongoing promoter feuds. The fight has been rumored to be in jeopardy of happening almost as soon as it was announced as Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn has insisted that Zuffa promoter Dana White contractually cannot take part of the promotion of the fight, but that’s precisely what financier Turki Alalshikh seemingly has in mind for the event. With word spreading over the ongoing disagreement between the promoters, which even prompted Tyson Fury to take to social media call out both Joshua and Hearn for pulling out of the fight, White was asked some media questions that very quickly got under his skin. “If Eddie Hearn really cared about this f-ckin’ fight — first of all the fight would’ve happened a f-ckin’ long time ago, one. Number two, he could finance the thing himself,” White would say. “Listen, this whole thing’s a sh-t show right now. We’ll all know a lot more in the next three, four days, see how this thing plays out.” Later, White wouldn’t commit to to whether he expects the scheduled kick off press conference for this fight to take place as scheduled this upcoming week as announced, but you can expect there will be plenty more news to come on this whole situation either way.
