Dane Jackson retires from NFL, following Levi Wallace's exit

Cornerback Dane Jackson has retired from the NFL at age 29, officially placed on the Reserve/Retired list by the Jacksonville Jaguars on July 28, 2026. Jackson, a sixth-year veteran, spent five seasons with the Buffalo Bills before stints with the Carolina Panthers and a brief return to Buffalo. His retirement follows that of fellow former Bills cornerback Levi Wallace, who retired recently as well. During his time in the league, Jackson recorded 155 tackles, three interceptions, and made 28 starts. The Bills are expected to continue providing updates throughout the 2026 NFL season.
