Danfoss and FSU Athletics sign a three-year STEM scholarship agreement

FSU Athletics and Danfoss Climate Solutions launched a three-year scholarship agreement to provide student-athletes with career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Announced by FSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford on Aug. 28, the initiative offers internships, facility tours, and research funding to assist athletes planning for careers beyond collegiate sports. This agreement builds upon a existing five-year collaboration between Danfoss and the FSU-FAMU College of Engineering, which previously established the Danfoss Research Fellowship Program. The new program aims to connect student-athletes with the Tallahassee-based company to develop skills in advanced manufacturing and sustainable technology. Danfoss Director of Marketing Communications Lisa Tryson stated that specific details regarding individual scholarship opportunities will be released as they are finalized.
