- 12:58 AMCageside Seats — Darby Allin is hellbent on taking out the newest Don Callis Family member
"AEW promised us that new Don Callis Family member Kevin Knight would have words for us on the special Summer Blockbuster edition of Dynamite, and after an over-the-top intro from his new representation the TNT champion took the microphone tonight (June 10) in Cincinnati. Knight talked about the decision to join Callis’ Family, his big reason being the AEW World title shot Don promised him (much to Andrade El Ídolo’s dismay). With that in mind, Jet called out the champ, Maxwell Jacob Friedman. He didn’t get MJF though. Instead Darby Allin’s music hit, and we saw the former AEW World champ on television for the first time since he lost the belt to Friedman at Double or Nothing a couple weeks back. TNT Champion @Jet2Flyy gives a little bit of reasoning as to why he joined @TheDonCallis Family and calls out AEW World Champion @The_MJF! That was obviously top of mind for Darby, who screamed “I hope New York was worth it!” before The Callis Family arrived to run him off before he could hit a Coffin Drop on the TNT champ.
