Darian Kinnard joins the New York Giants practice squad

Former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Darian Kinnard signed with the New York Giants practice squad on Tuesday. This move follows his release from the Green Bay roster on Sunday after he cleared waivers on Monday. Kinnard played 17 games for the Packers during the 2025 season, including four starts, and spent time at both right tackle and as an extra offensive lineman. The veteran struggled during training camp this year while managing an ankle injury and ultimately fell behind several younger players on the depth chart. Green Bay opted to keep five other reserves at his position instead of retaining Kinnard, who had received a $1 million signing bonus earlier this offseason. He now moves to the NFC East to join the New York Giants organization.
