Darius Alexander could impact Giants' defense in 2026 season

New York Giants defensive tackle Darius Alexander may play a crucial role in the team's defense for the 2026 season. Following the trade of Dexter Lawrence and the injury of Roy Robertson-Harris, Alexander is positioned to step up. Last season, he appeared in 16 games, recording 3.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, and six QB hits. With a new coaching staff, he is expected to have more opportunities to leverage his skills, particularly alongside other defensive linemen like Burns and Thibodeaux. The Giants are looking to fill significant gaps in their defensive lineup, placing more responsibility on Alexander as the season approaches.
