Darnell Savage Jr. has been revealed to be wearing jersey No. 31 at the Pittsburgh Steelers' mandatory minicamp on June 2, 2026. The safety, formerly drafted by Green Bay, joins the Steelers after a 2025 season spent with three teams. Savage faced delays in joining the Steelers earlier this year due to a medical issue. He adds depth to a safety roster that includes Jaquan Brisker and DeShon Elliott. The Steelers continue to strengthen their defense with offseason signings.
