Darren Waller signs with Panthers after leaving Dolphins

Summary

Darren Waller has signed with the Carolina Panthers after a season with the Miami Dolphins. The tight end, a former Pro Bowler, had six receiving touchdowns in nine games during the 2025 season despite dealing with injuries. The Dolphins, having missed the postseason in 2024 and struggling in 2025, are focusing on a youth movement and opted not to re-sign Waller. The Panthers, fresh off a playoff appearance, see the addition of Waller as a significant boost to their offense.
