Darryl Sims named W Club director at Wisconsin

On September 24, Wisconsin announced Darryl Sims as the new director of the W Club, returning to lead the organization's alumni engagement efforts. Sims previously managed the UW-Oshkosh athletic department since 2010 and has a history as a two-time all-Big Ten defensive end at Wisconsin in the 1980s. He takes over the role from Chris Solinsky, who transitioned to Wisconsin's director of track and field and cross country after a five-month tenure. Abby Gildernick will serve as interim athletic director at UW-Oshkosh while a national search is conducted for Sims' replacement.
