Davante Adams details $1 million jersey number demand from Jets rookie

Davante Adams, now with the Rams, shared a story about a rookie from his brief time with the Jets. When Adams wanted to claim his No. 17 jersey, the rookie asked for $1 million, despite minimal playtime. Adams offered cash and new jerseys for the rookie's family, but the request was declined. Instead, Adams went to Jets owner Woody Johnson, who granted Adams the jersey number. Adams continues to perform well in subsequent seasons with the Rams.
