Dave Bautista recalls failed WCW tryout experience

Dave Bautista reflected on his unsuccessful tryout for WCW in Atlanta years ago during an interview with "W.O.L.F. Gyms." He did not advance past the initial phase and was told that he didn't have what it took to be a pro wrestler, which left him feeling crushed. Bautista went on to find new training at Wild Small Wrestling Camp, affiliated with WWE, where he trained for about a year before securing a WWE contract. He made his television debut in WWE as "Deacon Batista" in 2002, eventually becoming a prominent figure in the industry.
