Dave Portnoy discusses Bryce Underwood's performance at Michigan

Summary

Dave Portnoy expressed confidence in Bryce Underwood despite Michigan's struggles this season. The Wolverines fell to 3-2 following their recent loss to Minnesota. Underwood, a top recruit with a lucrative NIL deal, has faced challenges in his sophomore year, throwing five touchdowns against four interceptions in five games. Portnoy emphasized that Underwood is not solely to blame for the team's performance and compared the situation to professional sports contracts that don’t always meet expectations. Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham plans to evaluate the team's offense to address these issues moving forward.
