David Berson to lead TNT Sports as Luis Silberwasser exits

David Berson, president and CEO of CBS Sports, is set to lead Skydance’s global sports business following the exit of TNT Sports chairman and CEO Luis Silberwasser. The leadership change coincides with the merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery. Berson will oversee a rights portfolio that includes the NFL, NHL, Major League Baseball, and NCAA basketball. Silberwasser has been with TNT Sports since 2022, helping to expand its rights offerings but will depart as the new corporate structure is established. The formal announcement of Berson's new role is expected soon, as the merger wraps up on October 6.
