The University of Dayton football team secured a 56-28 victory over Morehead State on Saturday, October 10 at Welcome Stadium. After a 21-21 tie at halftime, Dayton scored 35 unanswered points in the second half, including three touchdowns in the final quarter. Gavin Lochow caught two touchdown passes and ran for another, while quarterback Bryce Schondelmyer threw for four touchdowns and achieved 214 passing yards. Dayton improved to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Pioneer Football League. The Flyers will play Butler next on October 17.
