De’Aaron Fox and Mike Brown face off in 2026 NBA Finals

Summary

De’Aaron Fox and Mike Brown will meet in the 2026 NBA Finals as opponents, revisiting their connection with the Sacramento Kings. Fox, previously a member of the Kings for eight seasons, partnered with Domantas Sabonis under Brown, leading to a successful 2022-23 season. The Kings' momentum faltered after that season, culminating in Brown's controversial firing. Fox expressed frustration over being scapegoated in the aftermath, clarifying he did not want Brown fired and felt unsupported by the organization. Both are now with different teams, with Fox playing for San Antonio alongside Victor Wembanyama, focusing on winning in a reduced role.
