College SportsDeacon Avery has committed to the Florida State Seminoles for their 2026 baseball recruiting class. The Niceville, Florida, infielder announced his decision on social media after previously decommitting from Coastal Carolina. He had a strong senior season, hitting.374 with seven home runs and stealing 22 bases. Avery is the 14th high school player and fifth infielder to join FSU's 2026 class.
