Dean Young adds Nathan Fien and Dave Howlett to Dragons coaching staff

The St George Illawarra Dragons are finalizing their coaching staff for the 2027 season, with Dean Young appointing Nathan Fien and Dave Howlett. Fien, a former NRL player, leaves the Dolphins, where he helped develop a strong attacking team. Howlett, currently head coach of Endeavour Sports High's rugby league program, will also join as a veteran voice. The Dragons aim to improve their attacking performance after ranking low in major statistics last season, with roster changes underway as the November 1 free agency window approaches.
