Deanna Stellato-Dudek returns to U.S. figure skating with new partner

Deanna Stellato-Dudek will compete for the U.S. after representing Canada, where she became the oldest woman to win a world figure skating title. The 43-year-old pairs skater is set to team with Danil Siianytsia as they pursue qualification for the January 2027 U.S. Championships. Stellato-Dudek previously experienced a successful return to skating in 2016, ultimately earning Canadian citizenship in December 2024 to compete as an Olympic athlete for Canada. After winning the world title in 2024, a head injury kept her from fully participating in the Milan Cortina Olympics. Following this, her Canadian partner Maxime Deschamps announced his retirement in July. Stellato-Dudek is now focused on building a new partnership with Siianytsia.
