Declan Rice returns to England training, Reece James still sidelined

Declan Rice resumed training with England on Friday, following a brief absence due to a calf issue. Reece James did not participate in the session and remains a doubt for the upcoming match against Panama due to a hamstring injury sustained during the 0-0 draw with Ghana. James has been following an individual training program, increasing concerns about his availability for the tournament. England's coach Thomas Tuchel is assessing other options at right-back, including Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence, and Ezri Konsa. Rice's potential appearance is complicated by a risk of suspension for the knockout stages after receiving a booking against Ghana. The match against Panama is set for Saturday at 22:00 BST.
