Defender Tereza Romanovskaja reflects on career progression with Gintra and Lithuania

Tereza Romanovskaja, a 23-year-old defender for Gintra, is looking toward future opportunities in European leagues after developing her career in Lithuania. Born in the small town of Turmantas, Romanovskaja moved to a sports gymnasium in Panevėžys at age 14 to pursue football. She has since earned at least 26 appearances for the Lithuania women’s national team and currently wears the number 17 shirt for her club. Gintra recently participated in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying rounds, finishing third in their mini-tournament. The team secured a victory against Riga FC in the third-place match to transition into Women’s Europa Cup qualifying. Romanovskaja remains focused on consistent training and team development while aiming to continue her professional journey abroad.
