Deion Jones traded from Buccaneers to 49ers for Zamir White

Deion Jones, a veteran inside linebacker formerly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers. The trade, which was announced on August 24, involves Jones moving in exchange for running back Zamir White. A second-round draft pick in 2016, Jones has played in the NFL for ten seasons, including stints with the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, and most recently the Buccaneers. His move reunites him with Raheem Morris, who coached him during his best seasons in Atlanta. The Buccaneers have been revamping their inside linebacker corps following the retirement of Lavonte David, having also signed Alex Anzalone and drafted Josiah Trotter in the offseason.
