Dejanea Oakley wins women's 400m at 2026 Pre Classic in Oregon

The 2026 Pre Classic track and field meet took place at Hayward Field in Oregon from July 3-4. In the women's 400m, Dejanea Oakley of Jamaica finished first with a time of 49.64 seconds, followed by Aaliyah Butler from the USA in second and Stacey Ann Williams, also from Jamaica, in third. The women's 1500m saw Wilma Nielsen of Sweden take the victory, clocking in at 4:05.60. Valarie Sion from the USA led the women's discus event with a throw of 68.64 meters. The competition features numerous events, highlighting both established stars and emerging talent in track and field.
