Delaware field hockey, volleyball players share key lessons at media days

During the Delaware Online High School Sports Media Days held August 11-12 at Woodbridge High and Abessinio Stadium, student-athletes from field hockey and girls volleyball discussed the important lessons learned from their sports experiences. Players emphasized skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. Newark Charter's Victoria Weller highlighted the importance of conveying messages effectively as a leader, while Sussex Central's Julianne Bounds spoke on the importance of supporting teammates. The event included opportunities for players to impersonate their coaches and reflect on insights gained through competition.
