Delmarva Now opens fan voting for Bayside South football player honors

Fans may now cast votes for the 2026 Delmarva Now Fan's Choice Preseason Football Player of the Year. The poll includes 13 candidates from the Bayside South conference, all of whom earned All-Bayside Conference honors or served as key contributors during the 2025 season. This voting period precedes the start of the 2026 high school football campaign, which kicks off across Maryland's Eastern Shore on Friday, Sept. 4. Interested participants can access the ballot through Delmarva Now to select their preferred athlete. The poll remains open until 3 p.m. on Friday, at which time the final winner will be announced. This selection process serves as a lead-in to the upcoming regular season schedule.
