Denver Broncos cut wide receiver Kolbe Katsis from active roster

The Denver Broncos released wide receiver and return specialist Kolbe Katsis on August 30, 2026. Katsis joined the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft. During his time with the club this summer, the rookie competed for a roster spot while providing depth as a returner. He recorded a 40-yard kick return during a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Empower Field At Mile High on August 21. Team management determined the current wide receiver room is too deep to retain the rookie on the active roster. Katsis remains a potential candidate for the practice squad as a reserve returner.
