Denzel Aberdeen files injunction to gain fifth season of basketball eligibility

Florida basketball guard Denzel Aberdeen has filed a temporary injunction seeking a fifth season of college eligibility. The legal action follows a 10th Circuit Court of Appeals stay on a previous ruling that would have granted such status to the Class of 2022 athletes. Aberdeen, who played three seasons at Florida and one at Kentucky, re-committed to the Gators last spring and has been practicing with the team.
