Derby County signs Eiran Cashin and Mohammed Fuseini on loan deals

Derby County has reinforced its roster by signing Eiran Cashin and Mohammed Fuseini on loan agreements. Cashin, a 24-year-old defender, returns to the club where he began his career and contributed to its 2024 promotion to the Championship. He previously departed for Brighton in January 2025 but struggled to secure consistent playing time, making only two appearances and spending time on loan with Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers. Joining him is 24-year-old forward Mohammed Fuseini, who arrives on a season-long loan from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise. Fuseini brings international experience as a Ghana representative and previous experience in the Austrian and Danish leagues. The arrivals follow Derby County's first victory of the Championship season, which occurred at Portsmouth. The club confirmed the signings to bolster the squad following recent competitive action.
