Derryfield girls tennis team secures third straight Division I title

TennisDerryfield School claimed the NHIAA Division I girls tennis championship, defeating Bedford 5-4 at Southern New Hampshire University on June 4. The title was decided once again by the No. 2 doubles match, where Pola Jankowska and Neha Veeranna won 8-6. Each team entered the final with a 16-1 record, and Derryfield had previously lost to Bedford in the regular season. After a close singles round, Derryfield's Annie Lin tied the match with an 8-5 victory, setting the stage for the decisive doubles contests.
