DeSean Bishop ties Beattie Feathers for rushing TDs at Tennessee

DeSean Bishop tied College Football Hall of Fame member Beattie Feathers on Tennessee's career rushing touchdowns list during a game against Arkansas on October 10. He scored his 27th rushing touchdown on an eight-yard run late in the fourth quarter. This achievement places Bishop in a tie for sixth all-time at UT, alongside Feathers and Andy Kozar. Bishop has scored three touchdowns in 2024, 16 in 2025, and eight so far in 2026, with the potential to challenge the all-time record of 37 held by Gene McEver. Feathers, a standout in college football during the early 1930s, was also the first player in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
