Goodyear Desert Edge High School's football team will send Coach Henri MacArthur and four players to the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio on January 2027. MacArthur will serve as the defensive backs coach for the West team. Senior quarterback Blake Roskopf, junior edge rusher Jalanie George, and junior defensive backs Jaelyn Easterling-Flores and Nekhi Lambeth will represent the Scorpions in the nationally televised event. The Desert Edge program is preparing for its 2026 season opener against Cave Creek Cactus Shadows on August 27.
