Deshaun Watson engages with fans after preseason challenge
Summary

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson attempted to reconnect with fans by signing autographs and taking selfies after being loudly booed in a preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills. NFL analyst John Frascella criticized the timing of Watson's gesture, suggesting it was an attempt to 'overcorrect the narrative.' Watson's interaction with fans comes after acknowledging the pressure to improve following a $230 million investment in him by the team. He aims to solidify his role as Cleveland's Week 1 starter against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 13.
