Detroit Lions adjust roster and evaluate position battles before season opener

The Detroit Lions finalized several roster moves ahead of their season-opening game against the New Orleans Saints. The team signed linebacker Joe Bachie to the active roster while placing offensive lineman Mason Miller on the practice squad injured list. Additionally, center Seth McLaughlin and running back Jabari Small joined the practice squad. Head coach Dan Campbell indicated that the competition for the left guard position between Christian Mahogany and Ben Bartch remains ongoing. Campbell also noted that the team may rotate running backs to cover for Isaiah Pacheco during his absence.
