Detroit Lions announce training camp dates for July 2026

The Detroit Lions will have their rookies report to training camp on July 25, 2026, followed by veterans on July 28. The first practice is expected around July 29. The team has opted not to participate in joint practices this year, with Head Coach Dan Campbell citing diminishing returns from past experiences. Instead, the Lions will conduct private practices at their Allen Park facility leading into the preseason. Details regarding public access and ticket availability are forthcoming, as they were previously announced in mid-June.
