Detroit Lions enter Week 1 against the Saints with full roster participation

The Detroit Lions began preparations for their Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints with all 52 active roster players participating in Tuesday’s practice. While practice squad tackle Devin Cochran worked with a trainer during individual drills, the rest of the active roster and practice squad attended the session. This participation includes the return of safety Christian Izien, safety Thomas Harper, and linebacker Jimmy Rolder, who had all dealt with injuries during training camp. Head coach Dan Campbell noted that safety Kerby Joseph is ramping up his activity following his return to the facility. Despite the full participation in Tuesday's practice, several players remain sidelined on injury lists, including Damone Clark, Kendrick Law, Payton Turner, Cade Mays, Isiah Pacheco, Giovanni Manu, Brian Branch, and Mason Miller. Official injury status reports are expected to be released by the team on Wednesday.
