Detroit Lions linked to former Ravens quarterback Diego Pavia
Summary

Diego Pavia, recently released by the Baltimore Ravens, has been mentioned as a possible fit for the Detroit Lions. Despite his competitive college background and second-place finish in the 2025 Heisman Trophy voting, sources indicate the Lions are unlikely to pursue him. Currently, the Lions have Teddy Bridgewater and Luke Altmyer as options behind starter Jared Goff, creating a situation where adding Pavia could hinder Altmyer's development. The team is focused on competing in 2026, prioritizing a stable quarterback depth chart over adding another young player.
