Detroit Pistons, Jalen Duren remain at an impasse ahead of season

The Detroit Pistons and Jalen Duren continue to be at an impasse regarding his contract as the NBA season approaches. Despite interest from both sides, there are no signs of an agreement, especially with teams having spent their salary cap space. Duren, an All-Star, is seen as vital to the Pistons' future, but disagreements on contract value remain. The situation may extend into August or September, although a resolution is expected eventually, according to ESPN.
