Detroit Pistons trade up to No. 17, draft G Ebuka Okorie

The Detroit Pistons selected guard Ebuka Okorie from Stanford with the No. 17 pick in the NBA Draft on June 23. To move up from No. 21, the Pistons traded three future second-round draft picks to the Memphis Grizzlies. Okorie, standing 6 feet 2 and weighing 185 pounds, averaged 23.2 points per game in his only college season. The Pistons currently do not hold any second-round picks in the ongoing draft and will shift focus to free agency starting June 30.
