Wojciech Stachowiak was not given a qualifying offer by the Detroit Red Wings, becoming an unrestricted free agent. Stachowiak joined the Red Wings after a trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning, finishing the season with the Grand Rapids Griffins. He previously starred with Michigan State from 2018 to 2020 and represented Germany in the 2026 Winter Olympics. Alongside Stachowiak, Carter Mazur, Alex Doucet, Michael Milne, and Jakub Rychlovsky also did not receive qualifying offers.
