The Detroit Tigers announced the release of 24-year-old pitcher Duque Hebbert before Game 2 of their series against the Athletics. Hebbert was signed in April 2023 and had gained recognition during the 2023 World Baseball Classic but struggled in the minors, posting a 5.19 ERA over 91 games.
