Devin Carter pushes for role with Celtics after Kings stint

Devin Carter aims to establish himself with the Boston Celtics after overcoming challenges in his early career. The guard was originally drafted by the Sacramento Kings but struggled to find a role and was waived by the Atlanta Hawks in June. Following this, he secured an Exhibit 10 deal with the Celtics, allowing him to compete for a two-way contract. In a recent preseason game, he recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists off the bench against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Carter has drawn motivation from fellow Celtics player Neemias Queta, who also faced adversity before finding success in Boston. He continues to seek opportunities to impress as the team prepares for its next preseason matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
